Human Trafficking
Hello, I'm Tab. About two years ago, I felt God calling me to work with girls, but it wasn't until this past year that I knew that I was going to be working with sexually trafficked girls. I also recently found out that Houston is the second largest hub for sexually trafficked girls in the country and because of that a Home of Hope-Texas is being built in Houston. The Home of Hope will provide help, training and long-term rehabilitation for those victimized trafficking, and restore freedom and dignity to their lives. Since I can't work with any of the girls right now, I decided to start my own fundraiser. I came up with these shirts, hoping to raise thousands of dollars for this amazing project. The diamond represents the girls and how they go through a lot of pressure and hard times, but over time, they become something gorgeous and valuable. On the left arm is a heart with the initials: SBP which stands for Sandra Bass-Palmer. She was a wonderful woman of God who greatly impacted my life, and she is also the one who started this whole project. She died on April 23, 2010, and so I did this in remembrance of her.
